Participation of Specialists in a Criminal Proceeding Involving the Investigation of Criminal Offenses Related to Domestic Violence

Abstract

Specific expertise which procedural form is engagement of a specialist in investigative (search) actions is crucial in solving the majority of tactical tasks. Given that the indicated issue in the context of criminal offenses related to domestic violence remains insufficiently studied, the Article Purpose is to specify functions performed by specialists during investigative (search) actions in criminal offenses of this category. According to summarized results obtained from theoretical sources and analysis of empirical data, it has been found that it is typical to engage specialists to perform consulting, organizational and technical, search and analytical functions.
