Comprehensive Study of Traces Found at the Crime Scene During the Investigation of Intentional Damage to Law Enforcement Property

Abstract

Based on theoretical advances and analysis of investigative and judicial practice, the problems existed in issues on appointment and conduct of comprehensive forensic examinations were identified. The need to provide the comprehensive approach to the study of material traces as the most effective way to solve complex tactical tasks during the investigation was substantiated. The methods of intentional destruction and damage to the property of law enforcement officers and traces found at the place of their commission were identified. Taking into account the most common ways of committing these crimes and typical material traces, comprehensive forensic examinations were identified, which should be appointed to establish the circumstances to be clarified during the investigation and the solution of which requires the use of special knowledge.
