Typical Forms Of Using Specific Expertise During The Investigation Of Crimes Against Human Life And Health: Ways Of Application And Implementation Issues

Abstract

The authors, while textually analyzing provisions contained in the current legislation, reviewing empirical data, in particular, the study of judicial and investigative records, determined what typical forms of specific expertise are implemented during pre-trial investigation of crimes against human life and health. For this purpose, general scientific methods such as analysis, synthesis, and statistical methods had been applied. Their application substantiates the expediency of amending the provisions of the current criminal procedural legislation as well as the need to develop a unified approach to establishing the infliction of psychological suffering on a person, moral damage and finding the equivalent of its monetary expression by expert means. Grounds are defined and the expediency of implementation during the investigation of psychological consultations is emphasized.
