    Counteraction to cyberattacks on enterprises of the aerospace industry of Ukraine is considered within the framework of theories and institutions of criminological science. The place of cyber-terrorism counteraction in the system of criminological security of enterprises of the aerospace industry of Ukraine has been determined. The general characteristics of the elements of the system of criminological security of the enterprises of the aerospace industry in Ukraine are highlighted. It is emphasized that cyber-terrorism counteraction is the main component of the system of criminological security of enterprises of the aerospace industry in Ukraine. The concept of criminological security of aerospace enterprises is given, the system of this security and its components are disclosed.

    Fire and Technical Aspects Related to Fire of Lithium-Ion Batteries

    Lithium-ion batteries are becoming a universal phenomenon in modern society and are found in everywhere, from large-scale solar power storage system, as well as smaller devices such as laptops and phones to hybrid and electric vehicles. According to the statistics, most fires of lithium-ion batteries arise in electric bicycles, and allowing for the fact that the electric bicycle is usually charged during the night inside apartments, when no one is watching the charging process, the fire can lead to serious consequences. This article aims to understand how the lithium-ion battery technologies increases the risk of fire, the complexity of fact-finding and investigation of circumstances of the fire, and what can be done to prevent it at the legislative level.

    Psychohistorical Approach as a Means of Criminological

    The scientific article is devoted to the psychohistorical approach as a means of criminological analysis. In this research, the emphasis is on the psychohistorical approach, that places its emphasis on the study of social processes in each historical epoch. The focus is on psychohistorical analysis which sets the perspective of considering such complexities as unique properties, provides an opportunity to identify and characterize the historical connection of the event with previous ones, to describe its originality in light and contrary to chronology. The subject of psychohistorical analysis is determined and the main provisions underlying this approach, which organize the boundaries of psychohistorical analysis, are considered: discontinuity and continuity of history; chronology and simultaneity; struggle of events, chance; lack of essence, corporeality; discourse analysis. The article concludes on the prospects and consequences of the psychohistorical approach.

    Historical Characteristic of Mercenary Activtities as Form of Private Military Companies Activity

    The prohibition of mercenary activities at the international legal level makes the activities of private military companies the object of meticulous attention by the international community. Existing trends in the widespread involvement of private military and security enterprises (PMSE) in military and security functions both in the context of armed conflict (AR) and outside of it determine the need for legal regulation of their activities at the national and international levels, creation of legal mechanisms aimed at ensuring the protection of human rights and victims of AR. The indicated problems are also due to the fact that existing gaps in international law facilitate the use of mercenaries, increase their number, contribute to the emergence of new ways of recruiting them, and states must not only ratify or join the International Convention against the Recruitment, Use, Financing and Training of Mercenaries, but also adhere to its provisions.

    Criminal Liability for Offenses in the Field of Information and Communication Technologies Use (Review Article)

    he article analyzes scientific opinions on the content of studying peculiarities of criminal liability for offenses in the field of information and communication technologies use. An in-depth analysis of such scientific concepts as the crime object has been conducted. In particular, it is emphasized that information security can be both the main and additional object of a crime. The article summarizes that crimes against security of information and telecommunication technologies are prohibited by criminal law socially dangerous acts encroaching on social relations that ensure the security of processes and methods of search, collection, storage, processing, provision, dissemination of information by means of electronic computing machines and information telecommunication networks.
